Professor of Genetics (retired)Dept. of Genetics & Inst. of Biotechnology. University of Granada, Spain

Until my retirement in 2020, I was leading a multidisciplinary team of Bioinformatics and Evolutionary Computational Genomics at the University of Granada, Spain. My current research interest is the evolution of genome sequence complexity in different groups of organisms (cyanobacteria, endosymbionts, coronavirus...)
